Can I Keep 2 Baby Rats In A 10 Gallon Tank For About A Month Before Moving Them To A Cage?

My cousin who is moving away just gave me two baby rats as a farewell gift and i need to know if i'll be able to keep them in a 10 gallon tank for about a month before I'll be able to purchase a proper cage for them?
