Problem with dennis the menace (son-in-law)?

My daughter's husband is mean to me everytime im at thear place he makes a nasty comment its become unbearable i'm thinking of not spending anymore time with him or my daughter who's married to him however that might be his plan to isolate her from me It wont to do that ? so yesterday I said hey Dennis (that's him) you seem upset at me can we please talk it out he sure so how do we do this -any thoughts?
