What should I do?

I am 38 weeks 5 days pregnant. I had my prenatal apt today adn the doctor said i am measuring at 42 weeks ewww I know im sooo huge... Well he is worried about the size of me and couldnt really tell if i was breach or not.. also my cervix is still closed... So he told me to come in next week for another ultasound... But my question is what should i do about my mother... The doctor is soo worried about me.. I left my ex boyfriend b/c of abusive issues.. and she is the only one there for me.. Well she started seeing someone a few months older than me.. shes 46 he is 24... this is her first grandchild.. and she is going to the States to go see him on Sunday for a few days even thow the doctors are worried about me.. How can I get her to not be soo selfish? Like how could anyone abandon there daughter when she is so close to her due date?
